Use one of them, or all three. This page shows what each one is good at.

- The first time you open it, go to System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway.

The Mac app needs macOS 14 or newer. The first time you open it, your Mac asks you to confirm: open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway.

In your browser
Open Parley Notes in any browser. You do not need to install the web app. The Chrome or Edge extension records the meeting in the tab you have open.

Which one is right for you?
All three give you the same notes. They listen in different ways. They also turn speech into text in different places.
Your phone
Your phone is for meetings in the room. Put it on the table and it records the meeting. Your notes are with you wherever you go. If you download the speech model, your phone turns speech into text by itself. On a call with headphones on, your phone cannot hear the other people.
The desktop app
The desktop app is for calls on your computer. It listens to your microphone and to your computer's sound at the same time. So even with headphones on, it hears you and the other people on the call. Bluetooth headphones work too. You also get a bigger screen for reading long notes. If you download the speech model, your computer turns speech into text by itself, with our most accurate speech model. It runs on Windows today. The Mac app is coming soon.
The web app and the extensions
You can use the web app in any browser on any computer. You do not need to install it. The Chrome or Edge extension records the meeting in the browser tab you have open. So it hears both sides of a call. Our EU cloud always turns the speech into text, never your computer.

Private transcripts is a setting. It stays off until you turn it on in Settings. It locks your transcripts with a key that only your phone or the desktop app can hold. The web cannot hold it. Private by design
