Questions before your next meeting
Does a bot join my call?
No. On the phone, Parley listens through the microphone in the room. In the browser, the web app and the Chrome and Edge extensions record the call on your own computer, so no extra participant appears in it.
Which languages does it work in?
On Android, the on-device model transcribes 25 European languages that use the Latin alphabet, offline. Calls recorded in the browser are transcribed in the cloud. Notes are written in the language that was spoken. The app itself is available in 12 app languages.
Do I have to tell people I am recording?
Yes, wherever the law requires it, and in many places it does. Parley reminds you before your first recording, but telling the people in the meeting is your responsibility.
What does it cost?
The app is free on Google Play, with the iPhone app on the way. The pricing page shows what Plus and Unlimited add and what they cost.
