Seven kinds of conversation a week, and notes that fit each one.
A client briefing on Monday, an investor pitch on Tuesday, a conference talk on Friday. Parley recognises what kind of conversation it was and writes the notes to match, from your phone or your browser.

Lecture, cliff notesSeven conversations, seven kinds of notes
Parley works out what kind of conversation it was and writes it up to fit. A briefing tracks the account, a pitch separates evidence from assertion, a stand-up goes person by person, and a talk becomes notes you can revise from.
- Client briefing: what is going well, concerns, requests and account health
- Pitch: each claim marked evidenced or asserted, the numbers stated and the objections
- Lecture: key takeaways, a glossary and the references named aloud, and it works for talks too
There are more than 30 occasions across business, personal, lecture and health notes. Parley picks one for you, and you can rewrite any note as another occasion of the same kind.

File a note, and the folder decides how it is written
Set a folder to Business, Personal, Lecture or Auto, and every note filed in it is written up as that kind. Keep clients in Business folders and conferences in a Lecture folder, and each note starts from the right place. Prefer your own format? Write it once as My template.
- Inside a Business folder, Parley still tells a pitch from a stand-up
- Move a note to a folder of another kind and it is written up again
The folder sets the kind of note. The occasion inside it still comes from what was said.
Up to 400 characters for each kind of note. Choose it for any note, or make it your default style.
Set on the Templates page of the web app.
Questions from people with busy weeks
How does Parley know what kind of meeting it was?
It reads the conversation and picks from business occasions such as client briefing, pitch, brainstorm, stand-up, one to one and decision meeting. If it picks wrong, rewrite the note as another occasion.
Does it work for conference talks?
Yes. Lecture notes are written for study, with key takeaways, a glossary and the references the speaker named, and they work for talks too. Pick structured notes, a study guide with self-test questions, or cliff notes. Parley works from the audio, so it does not read the slides.
Can I use my own format?
Yes. Write it as My template, up to 400 characters for each kind of note, on the Templates page of the web app.
What does it cost?
The app is free on Google Play, with the iPhone app on the way, and occasion detection and rewrites work on every plan. The pricing page shows what Plus and Unlimited add.
Your next pitch, stand-up or talk, written up the way it should be.
Record it on the phone or in the browser, and Parley picks the notes that fit.
