Somebody recorded a conversation you took part in, using an app called Parley Notes. We did not get your details from you: we got them from the person who recorded it.

The person who recorded the conversation decided to record it, and is responsible for telling you and for getting your agreement where the law requires it. The app tells them so before their first recording.
We hold the result on their behalf, and we decide which AI models run, what is extracted, where it is stored and for how long, so those decisions are ours. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in giving a participant an accurate record of a conversation they took part in, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) UK GDPR.
None of it is sold, used for advertising, or used to train any AI model.
The summary, the action items and the insights are written by an AI model, and marked as AI-generated in the note and in every copy that leaves the app. They can be wrong. The transcript is not marked. Parley makes no automated decision with a legal or similarly significant effect on you (Art. 22 GDPR; Arts. 22A to 22D UK GDPR).
Until the person who recorded you deletes the note, or deletes their account.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to us holding it.
Email admin@parleynotes.com with the name you were recorded under, the date of the conversation, and who recorded you if you know. We answer within one month, and we will say so if a complicated request needs the extra two months the law allows. The person who recorded you can delete the whole note faster than we can, so asking them is often quicker.
Two honest limits. We cannot search inside every verbatim transcript for a passing mention of you, and anything on the recorder's own phone, including their own voice profile, is beyond the reach of any search of ours. We will tell you what we could and could not do.
Your rights are the same under the UK GDPR.
You can also complain to us directly under s. 164A of the Data Protection Act 2018. Write to admin@parleynotes.com with "complaint" in the subject line. We acknowledge within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, keep you informed, and tell you the outcome. The Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados applies to you as well. Our encarregado under LGPD art. 41 is Carbon Bridge Services B.V. itself, through admin@parleynotes.com. Under LGPD art. 19 we answer within 15 days. You can also complain to the ANPD, at gov.br/anpd.
