Delete Your Account

Applies to the Parley Android app ("Parley: AI note taker") and the Parley web interface, developed by Applicair.

Option 1: In the app (instant)

Open Parley and go to Settings (the profile icon, top right).
Scroll to Privacy & Data.
Tap Delete all my data and confirm.

This immediately erases your account's cloud data and every local recording on that device. No waiting period.

Option 2: By e-mail (no app required)

If you no longer have the app installed, e-mail admin@parleynotes.com from the address you used to sign in (or tell us the Google account e-mail), and ask us to delete your account.

Send deletion request

We process e-mail requests within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Meeting notes: transcripts, summaries, action items, tags and folders
Profile: your name, voice enrolment data (if you opted in to speaker recognition), and usage/plan records
Ask Parley memory: the encrypted notes index and people list used for search
Journal: mood check-ins, supplements and medication, on the device and any copy in your account
Connected accounts: any Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, Outlook or Slack links are revoked
The account itself: the sign-in record is deleted, so the email address can be used to start over from nothing

What is not affected

Audio recordings are kept on your phone, or in your own Google Drive if you switched backup on, and deleting the app or the Drive folder removes them. A recording transcribed in the cloud is not kept on our servers once your notes are back; the finished write-up is held for at most 24 hours, and Delete all my data removes it at once. Deletion does not affect your underlying Google account, only the data and connection Parley created.

Retention

Once a deletion (in-app or by e-mail) completes, no meeting notes, profile data, or account records remain in our systems. We may keep an anonymized record that a deletion request was received, for our own compliance record-keeping, containing no content from your account.
